-Major Accomplishments-

-Summer Information Technology Internship | CNA Financial Corporation in Chicago, Illinois-
At the completion of my summer internship experience at CNA in Chicago I am pleased to report that my experience exceeded all of my expectation. I will break down my internship further into individual work and team work.

-Individual Work-
Overall I am beyond satisfied with the work that was given to me to complete throughout my internship. Using my administrative access to ESM (Exchange Server Management), BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server), Remedy (IT Service Management Suite), and InterScan (Virus-Wall) I was able to tackle low and medium-risk level Remedy Incident Tickets. This has been an excellent learning experience which allowed me to build off my previous (lower-level) helpdesk experience. Not only was I able to help reduce the burden on the Message Engineering team but I was able to expand my skill set in a new way. I also spent time in the internship working on department-wide system patching process and strategy documentation for Blackberry Servers, System Management Servers, Microsoft Exchange Team, and the Client Engineering Team.

-Team Work-
My business case team worked consistently throughout the internship on our CNA.com Redesign Business Case Competition. The goal of the case was to create and present a business solution to increase the two-way communication channel and customer-centricity of CNA.com. Our teams’ final presentation went flawlessly to say the least. We presented our solution to a room full of five senior vice-presidents, managers, team members, and fellow employees. We received extremely positive feedback from our team coach and others who attended the presentation. The final presentation can be seen here.

-Graduate School Acceptance | Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington-
I officially made my acceptance decision to be admitted into the MSIS graduate program in the Kelley School of Business. I will be starting my graduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington in January 2010.

-Updated Résumé (8.19.09)-
